Vehicle Test Engineer in Munich Bavaria

Responsibilities

Testing pre-production and Prototype vehicles
Drive around mainland Europe
Fields of testing: Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Infotainment, Radio systems, eCall functionality, Smart EV Routing and in house R&D projects
Prepare test cases, plan the test drives, execute the test drive and create the test report
Work on cutting edge automotive technologies
Training for BMW B1 & B2 Prototype Driving license

Required Skills:

BS or MS in Engineering or similar
European B driving licence
Excellent English (oral and written) and MS office skills
Flexibility to travel on short notice
Great team player
Independent and structured work ethic
Knowledge or prior experience in the Automotive Industry is a plus

HIL Test Engineer – Automotive

Responsibilities

Define and execute Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) Tests for Automotive ECUs
Support and implement technical changes and extensions on the HIL systems
Create Test Plan, Test Specification, Test Scripts & Traceability Matrices
Prepare Test Reports, create Error Tickets & Re-verification
Participate in Review Meetings

Required Skills:

University degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering, Computer Science or similar
Minimum 5 years of Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) Testing experience in Automotive Domain
Expertise in HIL test systems like dSpace, vTest Studio, ETAS etc..
Knowledge on Networking protocols like CAN, LIN, Flexray, Ethernet etc.
Familiar with Vector Tools like CANoe, CANape, CANalyzer etc.
ISTQB Foundation Level Certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Integration & Release of target software for Automotive Electronic Control Units.
Setup, enhance and maintain Continuous Integration and Development infrastructure
Create integration test specification, perform integration testing, and create test reports
- Coordination of the software components through constant coordination with all stakeholders and through the use and maintenance of the databases and tools provided
Documentation of the program status in various project management systems
Participate in various technical reviews
Technical discussion with customers and suppliers

Required Skills:

University degree in electrical/electronic engineering, computer science or similar
5+ years of experience in Automotive Embedded Software Development
Min. 3 years of experience as integrator in Automotive projects.
Profound knowledge in C in embedded context
Knowledge of Jenkins, GIT, Doors or similar tools for Version Control and Requirements Management
Knowledge of Automotive Environments and Processes (Automotive SPICE)
Knowledge of scripting languages, preferably Python
Good experience on Vector DaVinci Configurator and CANoe tools
Good communication skills

Responsibilities

Interface with customer to evaluate safety goals, functional safety requirements; specify power electronic inverter controller safety concept
Perform system safety analysis
Generate technical safety requirement (detailed product safety requirement)
Generate power electronics controller’s technical safety concept (system architecture)
Generate executable simulation model to analyze feasibility and verify completeness of technical safety concept
Perform change management with the customer and internally
Generate product functional test plan (compliance testing)
Perform product functional testing on test bench and car
Support customer test and validation programs

Required Skills:

University degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering
Knowledge on ISO26262 system development process is an advantage
Experience on safety analysis (SFMEA, FTA, FMEDA, SW Freedom from Interference)
Strong experience in power electronics
Good experience on developing safety concept to detect sensor, actuator, motor and inverter control function
Understanding of vehicle electronic requirements and power electronics systems requirements
Good foundation knowledge of both hardware and software
Good communication skills
